1. (1) Each year the in-service training agenda for nurses shall include at least the following:

   1. (a) Infection control measures;
   2. (b) Emergency procedures including, but not limited to, procedures for fire and other disaster;
   3. (c) Procedures for life-threatening situations including, but not limited to, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the life-saving techniques for choking victims; and
   4. (d) Other special needs of the patient population.
2. (2) The facility shall assure that each licensed or certified employee is knowledgeable of the laws and rules governing his or her performance and that employees function within those performance standards.
3. (3) Documentation of such training shall include the date, content, duration and names of attendees.
