1. (1) A practitioner with an active United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration to prescribe in Oregon must register with the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program in accordance with OAR 333-023-0820(8) in order to have access to the Program’s electronic system.
2. (2) A practitioner who becomes licensed on or after July 1, 2018, and who has an active DEA registration must register with the Program as specified in section (1) of this rule, within 30 calendar days of Oregon licensure or DEA registration, whichever is later.
