1. (1) These rules are adopted pursuant to the authority granted to the Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division, in ORS 433.835 through 433.875 and 433.990(5) concerning smoke-free places of employment and public places.
2. (2) The purpose of the Oregon Indoor Clean Air Act is to reduce the health hazard caused to persons by inhaling smoke from tobacco products or other inhalants.
