An LDM may use the following Board approved devices:

1. (1) Devices for injection of medications including:

   1. (a) Needles.
   2. (b) Syringes.

2. (2) Devices for administration of intravenous fluids including:

   1. (a) Drip sets.
   2. (b) Catheters.

3. (3) Devices for maternal and neonatal resuscitation including:

   1. (a) Suction devices;
   2. (b) Oxygen-delivery devices.
   3. (c) Bag-Valve-Mask-Sets.
4. (4) Devices for rupturing the amniotic sac.

5. (5) Devices for repairing the perineal area including:

   1. (a) Sutures;
   2. (b) Instruments for completing a repair.
   3. (c) Local anesthetic administration devices.
