The following factors shall be used in computing the amount payable to the beneficiary:

1. (1) Length of service shall be computed in full months.

2. (2) For each month of active military service, not exceeding 36 months, claimant shall be entitled to receive:

   1. (a) Up to $150 per month for each month of full-time study or professional training;
   2. (b) Up to $100 per month for each month of part-time study or professional training.
3. (3) One month of entitlement will be deducted for each monthly payment covering any part of a calendar month.
4. (4) Payment for attendance shall be at the discretion of the Director and based on enrolled curriculum.
