Recognizing the need for uniformity of rules governing world championship contests notwithstanding any unarmed combat sports rule the Superintendent may, in the Superintendent’s discretion, authorize alternate provisions from time to time as long as the safety and welfare of the boxers and the public are not jeopardized.
