1. (1) Mileage: All officials and medical personnel assigned to events shall be paid a mileage allowance for actual round-trip travel from the official’s residence to the venue. Mileage allowance shall be 75 percent of currently published GSA Mileage reimbursement rates.
2. (2) Lodging: All officials and medical personnel assigned to events more than 100 miles from their homes, or at the discretion of an authorized representative of the superintendent based on road conditions, weather, or other circumstance that makes driving conditions unsafe, shall be given the option of having lodging provided by the promoter. If lodging accommodations provided by a promoter are not of satisfactory condition, or the promoter does not provide lodging, an authorized representative of the superintendent shall make alternative arrangements for lodging officials and bill the promoter for the cost. If lodging is not provided by the promoter for officials meeting the requirements for lodging, and such officials obtain lodging personally, they are entitled to reimbursement from the promoter up to the currently published GSA rates for lodging in the locality the event is being held. Official’s must make prior arrangements and present a receipt to be eligible for reimbursement.

3. (3) Officials shall be paid by the promoter according to the following pay scale unless a promoter has a predetermined pay scale which exceeds the following fees:

   1. (a) Net Gate — Main Event Referee — Preliminary Referee

      1. (A) $1.00–15,000 — $150 — $150
      2. (B) 15,001–20,000 — $210 — $170
      3. (C) 20,001–30,000 — $260 — $180
      4. (D) 30,001–40,000 — $315 — $200
      5. (E) Over 40,000 — $425 — $270

   2. (b) Net Gate — Judge — Standby Official

      1. (A) $1.00–15,000 — $85 — $50
      2. (B) 15,001–20,000 — $100 — $50
      3. (C) 20,001–30,000 — $120 — $50
      4. (D) 30,001–40,000 — $170 — $50
      5. (E) Over 40,000 — $225 — $50

   3. (c) Net Gate — Inspector — Chief Inspector

      1. (A) $1.00–15,000 — $50 — $75
      2. (B) 15,001–20,000 — $50 — $75
      3. (C) 20,001–30,000 — $50 — $75
      4. (D) 30,001–40,000 — $50 — $75
      5. (E) Over 40,000 — $50 — $75

4. (4) Timekeepers shall be paid according to the following pay scale: Net Gate — Pay

   1. (a) $1.00—15,000.00 — $50
   2. (b) 15,000—50,000.00 — $75
5. (5) Medical Personnel shall be paid according to the following pay scale: Net Gate — Pay $1 and over - $300
6. (6) “Net gate” means the total gross receipts minus state taxes and the schedule of officials’ fees paid by the promoter. If the estimated net gate is found to be inaccurate upon submission of the promoters tax report, and the officials pay is determined to be higher, an adjustment will be made, an invoice will be submitted to the promoter and the promoter will be responsible to submit checks for officials based on the difference between what they received and what they were due on the event application within 5 days of notice of underpayment.
7. (7) This section does not apply to events supervised by an amateur athletic organization.
