- (1) A competitor who has been wrestled, pushed, or has fallen through the ropes during a bout may not be helped back into the ring by any person, If the competitor is aided by any person, and the referee determines it has caused an unfair advantage, the referee may disqualify the competitor.
- (2) A competitor who has been wrestled, pushed, or fallen through the ropes shall have twenty (20) seconds to return to the ring. If the competitor has fallen from the ring as a result of a legal blow and cannot reenter the ring within the count, it will be considered a knockout (KO).
- (3) When a competitor has fallen through the ropes, the competitor’s opponent shall retire to the farthest neutral corner of the ring and stay there until ordered to continue the bout by the referee.
- (4) A competitor may be penalized for deliberately wrestling or throwing an opponent from the ring or striking a blow when the opponent is partially out of the ring and prevented by the ropes from assuming a position of defense.
