1. (1) General: Until such time as a signature is placed in the area designated for signature, a Mega Millions ticket is owned by the bearer of the ticket. MUSL, the Product Group, and the Lottery are not responsible for lost or stolen plays.
2. (2) Reporting Errors: Winners are determined by the numbers drawn and certified by the independent auditor responsible for auditing the Mega Millions draw. Neither the Lottery, nor MUSL is responsible for Mega Millions winning numbers reported in error.
3. (3) The Lottery is not responsible to a prize claimant for plays redeemed in error by a retailer.
