1. (1) Land or interests in land to be purchased for addition to the South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve must be approved by the South Slough Commission and the State Land Board.
2. (2) Land or interests in land to be acquired by the Department through either purchase or donation must be approved in advance by the State Land Board and must be consistent with the policies set forth in the Asset Management Plan and OAR 141-067-0140.
3. (3) In acquiring land or interests in land by purchase, the Department will pay an amount equal to the price a prudent purchaser would pay under similar circumstances.
