In furtherance of its mission to increase access to health care workers in the rural and underserved areas of this state, the Health Care Workforce Training Commission may:

1. 1. Receive appropriations from the Legislature;
2. 2. Accept, and use in accordance with federal requirements, federal funds and grants; and
3. 3. Receive and accept donations, grants, contributions, and gifts from any public or private source.
