- A. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shall conduct a thorough study to determine the feasibility of implementing bachelor's degree programs that require only three (3) years, or ninety (90) credit hours, to complete in this state. The study shall investigate a variety of fields of study and determine the feasibility of reducing specific course requirements, quantity of electives, and total credit hours required for graduation. The study shall consider and evaluate potential issues related to accreditation and degree marketability.
- B. On or before July 1, 2026, the State Regents shall prepare and submit to the Governor, the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, and the President Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma State Senate a report concerning the findings of the study.
