Design and Implementation of Statewide General Public Education Program on Waste Management

The Department of Environmental Quality shall design and implement a statewide general public education program on waste management by 1992 with particular emphasis on:
- 1. Recycling;
- 2. Litter reduction;
- 3. Waste reduction; and
- 4. The management and disposal of hard to dispose of wastes. Any litter reduction program shall be developed by the Department in conjunction with the State Department of Transportation.
