General hunting regulations
Effective Aug 26, 199613 Ok Reg 3527<i><sup>1</sup>This emergency action expired before being superseded by a permanent action. Upon expiration of an emergency amendatory action, the last prior permanent text is reinstated. The following hunting regulations apply to waterfowl and Sandhill Crane hunting at the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge:
- (1) All hunting will be shotgun only, utilizing federally approved nontoxic shot only.
- (2) Hunters must check in and out in designated areas.
- (3) All vehicles must remain in designated parking areas.
- (4) All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- (5) This area will be closed to all hunting during the nine day deer gun season.
