The following is a list of general instructions that apply to all successful hunters:

1. (1) Hunters may not leave the designated blinds, except to reposition decoys or to retrieve dead or wounded birds.
2. (2) Hunters must be at the check station by 5:00 a.m. No hunter will be allowed into the hunt area after 6:00 a.m. nor leave before 11:30 a.m.
3. (3) Dogs will be allowed in the hunt area if they are kept under control and are not allowed to roam.
4. (4) Hunters will be allowed ten (10) shells per day, federally approved nontoxic shot only.
5. (5) Open fires will not be permitted in the hunt area.
6. (6) Transportation to the area of the blinds will not be furnished.
7. (7) No alcoholic beverages will be allowed to be brought into the area.
8. (8) All successful applicants are encouraged to obtain a free Sandhill Crane permit from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation in the event they have an opportunity to shoot sandhill crane.

<i>¹This emergency action expired before being superseded by a permanent action. Upon expiration of an emergency amendatory action, the last prior permanent text is reinstated. Therefore, on 7-15-96 (after the 7-14-96 expiration of the emergency action), the text of Section 800:25-5-66 reverted back to the permanent text that became effective 6-12-95, and remained as such until amended by permanent action on 8-26-96.</i>
