The following restrictions apply to persons possessing raptors for propagation, purchase or sale purposes:
- (1) Oklahoma residents may possess raptors for breeding purposes and may purchase, sell, trade of barter captive bred raptors, raptor semen or raptor eggs.
- (2) All persons participating in such activities shall possess a federal raptor propagation permit and be in full compliance with federal regulations governing such activities
- (3) All persons participating in such activities shall possess an Oklahoma Commercial Wildlife Breeders License.
- (4) With respect to activities conducted under authority of a raptor propagation permit, no person shall import a raptor into or export a raptor from the State of Oklahoma without having first obtained a permit from the Director of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
- (5) Propagation permit holders shall file copies of all reports submitted to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation within 7 days of submission.
