1. (a) All chapters and provisions within chapters, including exceptions, of the IFC® 2018 not specifically addressed within these rules as being modified, deleted, moved or removed are hereby adopted without modification as the statewide minimum code for residential and commercial fire prevention and fire protection systems within the State of Oklahoma pursuant to 59 O.S. § 1000.23. Chapters and provisions within chapters, including exceptions adopted with modifications are specifically addressed in these rules.
2. (b) The ICC® has reserved Chapters 13 through 19, Chapters 40 through 49, Chapter 52, and Chapters 68 through 79 for possible future use. The OUBCC has not adopted Chapters 13 through 19, Chapters 40 through 49, Chapter 52, and Chapters 68 through 79 and these chapters are not considered part of the statewide minimum code for residential and commercial fire prevention and fire protection systems within the State of Oklahoma.
3. (c) To the extent any references in the IFC® 2018as amended and modified in this sub-chapter are made to any other code or standard, the particular edition for that reference is defined in the referenced standards found in the IFC® 2018as amended and modified in this sub-chapter and in the IFC® 2018Chapter 80 entitled "Referenced Standards."
