1. (a) Public officers and agencies shall be examined under any or all of the circumstances defined in 735:80-11-2.

2. (b) The following categories of property normally held by public officers and agencies shall be subject to reporting under the Unclaimed Property Act:

   1. (1) Outstanding or unclaimed expense and vendor checks, payroll checks and refund checks;
   2. (2) Unclaimed employee benefits;
   3. (3) Unclaimed bond proceeds, together with interest or dividends thereon.
3. (c) Property subject to the Unclaimed Property Act shall not be presumed abandoned unless it has remained unclaimed for the statutory period of time.
