1. (a) All licenses expire at the end of each calendar year and shall be subject to renewal on the first day of the next calendar year.
2. (b) All licensees must complete licensure renewal application using the online licensee portal system. Mailed renewal applications will not be accepted by the Board except where extreme extenuating circumstances exist as determined by the Executive Director.
3. (c) Licenses will lapse on the last day of the calendar year. Such lapsed licenses may be renewed upon receipt of a complete renewal application and payment of the renewal fee plus a late fee as set forth in 675:1-1-9 if submitted within ninety (90) days from the first day of the new calendar year. Licensees renewed after December 31 of the calendar year will be assessed the late renewal fee. Social workers renewing their license January 1 through March 31 must provide verification of continuing education.
