- (a) The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shall make OneNet's internet and technology services and infrastructure available to research and educational entities, governmental and tribal agencies, political subdivisons, eligible healthcare providers, and telecommunications providers consistent with the policies and procedures established by OneNet. The proposed use shall not interfere with the normal maintenance and operation of OneNet. Each request to utilize the internet and technology services of OneNet will be reviewed on an individual basis to ensure it is consistent with state and federal laws and regulations. The State Regents will develop a schedule of rates to be utilized for the services provided and shall have the ability to offer discounted rates on a case-by-case basis if it is determined to be in the best interest of the State.
- (b) For the purposes of this section, "eligible healthcare providers" include, but are not limited to:
- (1) post-secondary educational institutions offering health care instruction, teaching hospitals, and medical schools;
- (2) community health centers or health centers providing health care to migrants;
- (3) local health departments or agencies;
- (4) community mental health centers;
- (5) not-for-profit hospitals;
- (6) rural health clinics; and
- (7) consortia of health care providers consisting of one or more entities falling into the first six categories.
- (c) The State Regents reserve the right to change the rates or cancel service with a 90-day advance notice to the user.
