Deferment of the loan commitment may be granted at the discretion of the Commission under the following circumstances:

1. (1) Required military service for a period. Recipients may qualify for deferment if their spouses are required to leave Oklahoma under this condition;
2. (2) Extended illness upon the written recommendation of physician licensed in Oklahoma;
3. (3) Maternity leave-of-absence for a period of time not to exceed six months.
