1. (a) General provisions. Drugs shall be administered at a hospital facility in accordance with the policies and procedures of that facility.
2. (b) Self-administration. Self-administration of drugs by patients shall be permitted only when specifically authorized by the prescribing physician, provided a pharmacist or physician has identified the drugs.
