Instructor approval requirements

(a) Applicants shall submit documentation of their firearms instructor training to CLEET.
1. (1) Documentation should include a copy of one of the following
  1. (A) training certificate;
  2. (B) a certified copy of a training record; or
  3. (C) a letter of completion from the course sponsor.
2. (2) CLEET may require additional information as to the number of training hours, date, location, sponsor, etc., necessary to evaluate the training.
3. (3) Training documentation should reflect the type of weapon, revolver or semi-automatic pistol, on which the instructor is qualified to instruct
(b) Applicants must complete an application form.
(c) Applicants must pay an annual fee.
