1. (a) Written policy and procedure shall:

   1. (1) specify how many visitors the juvenile can receive;
   2. (2) specify how often visitation is available;
   3. (3) require the maintenance of a log of persons allowed to visit; and
   4. (4) designate the length of the visitation.

2. (b) Written policy and procedures shall also address the following:

   1. (1) visits may be limited by the facility's schedule, space, and personnel constraints or where there are other substantial reasons to justify limiting visitations;
   2. (2) juveniles have the right to refuse visitation;
   3. (3) all visitors are subject to searches; and
   4. (4) a written record shall be maintained of visitation restrictions and the subsequent review of those restrictions.
