- (a) The CODIS laboratory may submit DNA offender samples to other private or government laboratories for DNA analysis.
- (b) Submission of samples to other laboratories must be approved in advance by the Assistant Director of Criminalistics.
- (c) The CODIS laboratory will specify integrity, quality control, and privacy measures to be employed by the laboratory receiving and analyzing the samples.
- (d) The CODIS laboratory will specify the genetic loci to be profiled and the technology to be used in the analysis of the samples.
