- (a) Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) Volunteer Program provides a variety of opportunities for volunteers to assist OKDHS and serve clients across several different divisions within the agency. Each OKDHS division is responsible for identifying the types of volunteer opportunities based on needs, appropriateness of utilization, and availability of support staff in local counties.
- (b) Within the volunteer roles there are two levels of engagement as described below. Each level has specific minimum requirements, though the participating division may have additional requirements.
- (1) Group Engagement; a group of volunteers engaged in an OKDHS service project that is overseen by an approved volunteer supervisor.
- (2) Direct Engagement; volunteer engages with an individual client to provide a service and enrichment for that client.
