1. (a) Deductible. The deductible amounts are the out-of-pocket expenses for a class of benefits incurred by the employee for himself or on behalf of a covered dependent during each calendar year.
2. (b) Family deductible. During any benefit period, EGID will pay a percentage of the covered charges incurred which exceed the family deductible amount, if applicable.
3. (c) Maximum benefits. The dental plan has a maximum benefit on a calendar year basis as established by EGID.
