In addition to the general requirements for administrators , each applicant seeking certification as a CAA must provide evidence satisfactory to the Department to include:

1. (1) High school diploma or G.E.D.;
2. (2) Successful completion of Department-approved training, within 24 months prior to certification;
3. (3) A passing score on the applicable Oklahoma State Standards examination;
4. (4) A passing score on the NAB Core examination ; and
5. (A) One (1) year of current management, leadership or supervisory experience in a long-term care facility; OR
6. (B) Completion of a Department-approved Administrator in Training (AIT) program.
