1. (a) A certified ICF/IID care aide is deemed to meet the nurse aide certification requirements for the following employers after successful completion of at least sixteen (16) hours of documented orientation specific to the facility population. The employers to which this subsection applies are:

   1. (1) Residential care.
   2. (2) Adult day care.
2. (b) The Department shall deem a certified long term care aide or a home care aide who has at least sixteen (16) hours of training specific to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to meet the requirements for an ICF/IID care aide.
