A person who has specialized training or one (1) year of experience in treating or working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and is one of the following:

1. (1) A psychologist.
2. (2) A licensed doctor of medicine or osteopathy.
3. (3) An educator with a degree in education from an accredited program.

4. (4) A social worker with a bachelor's degree in:

   1. (A) Social work from an accredited program; or
   2. (B) A field other than social work and at least three (3) years of social work experience under the supervision of a qualified social worker.
5. (5) A physical or occupational therapist.
6. (6) A speech pathologist or audiologist.
7. (7) A registered nurse.

8. (8) A therapeutic recreation specialist who:

   1. (A) Is a graduate of an accredited program; and
   2. (B) If the State has a licensing or registration procedure, is licensed or registered in the State.
9. (9) A rehabilitation counselor who is certified by the Committee of Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.
