1. (a) An event license may be issued for body piercing or tattoo procedures for the purposes of:

   1. (1) Product demonstration;
   2. (2) Industry trade shows; or
   3. (3) Educational reasons.

2. (b) The event shall:

   1. (1) Be for a specified period not to exceed three (3) consecutive days;
   2. (2) Be a single event, where the primary function of the event is body piercing or tattooing;
   3. (3) Be affiliated with an establishment that has a current license issued by the Department;
   4. (4) Be contained in a completely enclosed, non-mobile environment;
   5. (5) Have artists that meet the requirements outlined in OAC 310:233-9-4.1; and

   6. (6) Ensure a safe and sanitary environment by:

      1. (A) Providing facilities to properly sterilize instruments; or
      2. (B) Only using single use, prepackaged, sterilized equipment.
3. (c) Temporary licenses are not transferable from one special event to another.
