1. (a) Multiple procedure areas shall be separated from each other by a wall or rigid divider to visually define the space and limit potential contamination of neighboring procedure areas.

2. (b) Each procedure area shall:

   1. (1) Have a minimum of forty-five (45) square feet of floor space;
   2. (2) Have a sharps container available;

   3. (3) Be equipped with a handwashing facility with:

      1. (A) Hot and cold running water, under pressure;
      2. (B) Wrist or foot operated controls;
      3. (C) Liquid germicidal soap;
      4. (D) Disposable paper towels; and
      5. (E) A covered waste receptacle.
3. (c) All procedure area surfaces, including client chairs and benches shall be cleaned and disinfected after each client.
4. (d) Artificial light equivalent to at least one hundred (100) foot candles of intensity shall be provided.
