Where conflicts occur between provisions of applicable code and referenced codes and standards, the most restrictive shall govern as determined by the State Fire Marshal. In an event where separate requirements pertain to the same situation in the same code, or between different codes as adopted, the more restrictive requirement shall govern, as determined by the State Fire Marshal.
