The following will be considered by the DEQ in determining grant awards:

1. (1) Project proposed, including how the project accomplishes the following factors:

   1. (A) Promotes enthusiasm to learn more about the environment;
   2. (B) Fits in the school curriculum or youth group program;
   3. (C) Involves community partnerships and/or outreach, if applicable.
2. (2) Number of students/youth participating;
3. (3) Grade level of students/youth; and
4. (4) Geographic location.
