The term of accreditation is annual, running from September 1 to August 31 the following year. Notwithstanding, an applicant laboratory may apply at any time for initial, interim or renewal accreditation. A laboratory applying for interim accreditation shall meet the same requirements as a laboratory applying for initial accreditation.
