1. (a) Intent. The purpose of this Chapter is to foster the generation of environmental data of known and documented quality through a laboratory accreditation program administered by the Department of Environmental Quality. This Chapter sets standards for accreditation consistent with standards of The NELAC Institute (TNI).
2. (b) Authority. This Chapter was promulgated and adopted pursuant to the Oklahoma Environmental Quality Code (Code), 27A O.S. § 2-4-101 et seq., and shall apply to laboratories accredited or applying to be accredited by DEQ.
3. (c) Implementation Date. The implementation date of this Chapter is January 1, 2016.
