All marinas must have a sign printed in ¼ to ½ inch text in black or red block capital letters on a white background conspicuously posted and easily readable from the dispensing area which says:

1. (1) BEFORE FUELING:

   1. (A) Stop all engines and auxiliaries.
   2. (B) Shut off all electricity, open flames and heat sources.
   3. (C) Check all bilges for fuel vapors.
   4. (D) Extinguish all smoking materials.
   5. (E) Close access fittings and openings to prevent fuel vapors from entering enclosed spaces of the vessel.

2. (2) DURING FUELING:

   1. (A) Maintain nozzle contact with the fill pipe.
   2. (B) Wipe up spills immediately.
   3. (C) Avoid overfilling.
   4. (D) Fuel filling nozzle must be attended at all times.

3. (3) AFTER FUELING:

   1. (A) Inspect bilges for leakage and fuel odors.
   2. (B) Ventilate until odors are gone.
