1. (a) For many state and federal cost-share programs, a conservation plan is required. However, the state has not had enough conservation planners to meet the needs of producers.
2. (b) The Commission shall assist districts in the hiring and placement of conservation planners across the state. These planners will work with producers to develop and write these plans.
3. (c) The Commission shall serve as the primary coordinator and overseer for the training and certifications required for these conservation planners.
