The Oklahoma Department of Commerce shall be governed and managed by a Director who is appointed by the Governor and who shall be qualified pursuant to law as required by 74 O.S., Sections 5002.3(J), 5003.5 and 5003.6. The Director shall have the power and duty to carry out the responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer of the Department.
