1. (a) The Center complies with Center for Disease Control recommendations regarding isolation precautions.

2. (b) Patients who have been diagnosed with or show signs or symptoms of a communicable condition that would require isolation precautions shall be reviewed individually to determine the following:

   1. (1) The ability of the Center to provide required therapies for the patient in accordance with utilization review criteria while maintaining appropriate isolation precautions.
   2. (2) The ability of the Center to provide appropriate medical care to the patient.
   3. (3) The ability of the Center to provide appropriate isolation precautions for the patient to prevent the spread of disease.
