1. (a) The size of a parking space for one vehicle shall consist of a rectangular area having dimensions and adequate area for ingress and egress.

   1. (1) A long term parking space shall have dimensions of 8'-5" by 19'.
   2. (2) A short term parking space shall have dimensions of 9' by 20'.
   3. (3) A compact parking space shall have dimensions 7'-5" by 15'.
   4. (4) A curb space parking space shall have dimensions of 8'-5" by 22'.
   5. (5) A bus or recreational vehicle parking space shall have dimensions of 9' by 40'.
   6. (6) A handicapped accessible parking space shall have dimensions of 13' by 20'.
   7. (7) Off-street loading space shall be at least 12' in length and 30' in width with a 15' overhead clearance.
2. (b) All handicapped parking and access shall be in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
