Except as provided in section 4755.451 of the Revised Code, to be eligible to receive a license to practice as a physical therapist assistant, an applicant must pass both of the following:

1. (A) A national physical therapy examination for physical therapist assistants approved by the physical therapy section of the Ohio occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic trainers board.
2. (B) A jurisprudence examination approved by the physical therapy section on Ohio's laws and rules governing the practice of physical therapy.
