- (A) An individual holding a current, valid license issued under section 4731.15 of the Revised Code to provide massage therapy may provide massage therapy in a barber shop. An individual holding a current, valid license or certificate issued by a professional regulatory board of this state may practice the individual's profession in a barber shop if the individual's profession is authorized by rules adopted under section 4709.05 of the Revised Code to practice in a barber shop. An individual may provide cosmetic therapy in a barber shop if authorized by rules adopted under section 4709.05 of the Revised Code to practice in a barber shop.
- (B) An individual providing cosmetic therapy, massage therapy, or other professional service in a barber shop pursuant to this section shall satisfy the standards established by rules adopted under section 4709.05 of the Revised Code.
- (C) An individual who provides massage therapy or other professional services in a barber shop under this section shall maintain the individual's professional license or certificate or electronically generated license certification or registration and a state of Ohio issued photo identification that can be produced on inspection or request.
