Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 3901.046 – Electronic signatures

(A) As used in this section:
1. (1) "Electronic signature" has the same meaning as in section 1306.01 of the Revised Code.
2. (2) "Insurer" has the same meaning as in section 3901.32 of the Revised Code.
(B) An insurer may use an electronic signature to comply with any signature requirement placed upon insurers by this title, including any requirement that a document submitted by an insurer to the department of insurance be signed.
