1. (A) No person shall knowingly transport marijuana other than adult-use marijuana, medical marijuana, or homegrown marijuana in a motor vehicle.

2. (B) No person shall knowingly transport medical marijuana or adult-use marijuana in a motor vehicle unless one of the following applies:

   1. (1) The adult-use marijuana or medical marijuana is in the original, unopened packaging in which it was dispensed or sold;
   2. (2) If previously opened, the adult-use marijuana or medical marijuana is stored in the trunk of the motor vehicle or, if the motor vehicle does not have a trunk, behind the last upright seat of the motor vehicle or in an area not normally occupied by the driver or passengers and not easily accessible by the driver.
3. (C) No person shall knowingly transport homegrown marijuana in a motor vehicle unless the homegrown marijuana is stored in the trunk of the motor vehicle or, if the motor vehicle does not have a trunk, behind the last upright seat of the motor vehicle or in an area not normally occupied by the driver or passengers and not easily accessible by the driver.

4. (D) No person shall knowingly transport marijuana paraphernalia in a motor vehicle unless one of the following applies:

   1. (1) The marijuana paraphernalia is in the original, unopened packaging in which it was dispensed or sold;
   2. (2) If previously opened, the marijuana paraphernalia is stored in the trunk of the motor vehicle or, if the motor vehicle does not have a trunk, behind the last upright seat of the motor vehicle or in an area not normally occupied by the driver or passengers and not easily accessible by the driver.
