(A)

1. (1) An acting judge appointed pursuant to division (A)(2)(a), (B)(1), or (C)(1) of section 1901.121 of the Revised Code shall receive reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses and a per diem compensation established by the incumbent judge, subject to the following limitations:

   1. (a) If the incumbent judge receives compensation as described in division (A)(5) of section 141.04 of the Revised Code, the per diem compensation of the acting judge shall not exceed the per diem compensation paid to the incumbent judge based upon a work year of two hundred fifty days.
   2. (b) If the incumbent judge receives compensation as described in division (A)(6) of section 141.04 of the Revised Code, the per diem compensation of the acting judge shall not exceed the per diem compensation paid to the incumbent judge based upon a work year of one hundred thirty days.
2. (2) The per diem compensation of the acting judge shall be payable in the same manner as the compensation paid to the incumbent judge during the same period.

(B) An assigned judge assigned pursuant to division (A)(1), (A)(2)(b), (B)(2), (C)(2), or (D) of section 1901.121 of the Revised Code shall receive reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses and a per diem compensation computed as follows:

1. (1) If the assigned judge receives compensation as described in division (A)(5) of section 141.04 of the Revised Code, thirty dollars;
2. (2) If the assigned judge receives compensation as described in division (A)(6) of section 141.04 of the Revised Code, the per diem compensation of a judge of a municipal court compensated as described in division (A)(5) of section 141.04 of the Revised Code, less the per diem compensation of the assigned judge, each calculated on the basis of two hundred fifty working days per year;
3. (3) If the assigned judge is a retired judge of a municipal or county court or a court of common pleas, the established per diem compensation for a judge of a municipal court compensated as described in division (A)(5) of section 141.04 of the Revised Code, calculated on the basis of two hundred fifty working days per year, in addition to any retirement benefits to which the assigned judge may be entitled;
4. (4) If the assigned judge is a sitting judge of the court of appeals or a court of common pleas, fifty dollars.
