N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. tit. 9, § 85.1
No vehicle registered with the Liquor Authority pursuant to section 94 of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law shall be used for trucking or transportation of any alcoholic beverage within this State, unless there shall be affixed to or inscribed upon both sides of such vehicle, or, if the vehicle consists of a separate cab and trailer, unless affixed to or inscribed upon both sides of the cab, a sign bearing the following inscription: “New York State Liquor Authority Trucking Permit No. . . ”, and the current calendar year for which such permit number was issued, in uniform letters not less than one inch in height. Such sign shall be 10 inches by 7 inches in size, or, if an inscription, such inscription shall be circumscribed by a rectangle 10 inches by 7 inches in size, and such sign or inscription shall be in the following form:
