N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. tit. 8, § 111.4 – Eligibility for admission.

(a) Each applicant for admission shall intend to pursue a professional career in the field of the particular school for which application is made.
(b) All applicants for admission to the program shall have completed eighth grade and be between the ages of 14 and 18 years.
(c) All applicants for admission shall participate in the screening process established to determine artistic ability and talents.
