N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. tit. 6, § 96.2 – Fishing.

(a) No person shall fish from December 1 through April 30.
(b) No person shall fish from sunset to sunrise.
(c) No person shall fish from or use a boat, canoe or any type of flotation device.

No person shall fish in the area other than outside areas posted with “Restricted Area” signs. Fishing shall be subject to the following regulations:
