This section describes the utilization threshold that the department has established for mental health clinic programs. The department will pay for up to 40 mental health clinic encounters in a benefit year. As used in this section, the term mental health clinic means a clinic treatment program certified by the Office of Mental Health under article 31 of the Mental Hygiene Law.
